The Welcome Home Program offers grants to assist with down payment and closing costs for income eligible homebuyers. Honorably discharged veterans, surviving spouses of military personnel, and active duty military homebuyers may qualify for additional funds. Homebuyers must apply and qualify for a mortgage loan to utilize the grant. This program is open on a first-come, first-serve basis, usually in February each year. Homebuyer and property eligibility may change year-to-year.
